Who we are
Rodríguez Martín Abogados was founded on a simple idea: that any individual or business should be able to count on rigorous legal representation, explained in plain language, with costs known from the outset.
Our core activity is defending consumers against banks, lenders and companies: revolving credit cards, consumer loans, micro-loans, car finance, mortgages and debts sold to funds, before courts throughout Spain. That experience has taught us how these institutions operate, which arguments succeed in each court and when it is better to negotiate than to litigate.
We also advise businesses that deal with consumers on debt recovery, responding to complaints and drafting contracts and terms; and we handle tenancy, family, inheritance, mediation and personal insolvency matters for individuals and the self-employed.
How we work
Preliminary review. We analyse every matter before taking it on. The first consultation is free and ends with a clear answer: whether the case has prospects, what the options are and what each would cost.
Written quote. Every engagement is formalised in an engagement letter detailing each stage, its price and the payment terms. No surprises.
Ongoing information. The client is informed of every relevant decision and the next step without having to chase us.
Network of associates. We work with trusted court agents and experts across Spain and with associate lawyers for criminal, employment and administrative matters, so that every case is handled by the person who knows it best.

Christian Rodríguez Martín leads the firm and personally directs the legal strategy of every matter. A practising lawyer for more than six years, he has focused his practice on consumer and banking law, with more than one hundred and fifty proceedings against financial institutions, and on civil and procedural law. He is a member of the ICAB legal aid roster.
He works alongside a network of associate lawyers, court agents and experts through whom the firm covers the remaining practice areas and the whole of Spain. The client always knows who is involved in their case and why.
Where we are
The office is at Carrer de Balmes 188, Barcelona (Metro Diagonal and FGC Gràcia), by appointment. Much of the work is done by phone, email and video call, which allows us to serve clients throughout Spain with the same personal attention.
